2024
I'm excited to announce that I received a grant from MSAB to continue building up my next new project. I will distribute and produce bilingual, sequential art combining text and images to share information on anti-racism/bias based on collective experience, research, and studies toward the BIPOC community before/during/after years of becoming a newcomer.
Again, if you or your friends want to contribute your experiences as a newcomer or immigrant in Minnesota, don't hesitate to contact me. By giving back to your participation, you will get a free copy of this publication once it's printed out and published. And please do share with your friends if you advocate ABAR education in or outside the school. This project will be a free publication for you to share.
I'll host a free event/workshop/public talk soon after February. Stay tuned for upcoming developments.

Tatana Kellner shared, “Wen-Li Chen’s work stood out in its poetic beauty exploring her Kavalan heritage. I was impressed by the haunting imagery delving into the issue of immigration, inheritance, ritual, celebration, and mourning, providing the viewer with a window into her world.”
